Ethnic Diversity - Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

Thank you! This is so exciting  Our children are especially excited about the MAFA pictures. One Sunday I printed out the picture of Simeon and Anna in the Temple, Simeon holding Jesus, and gave it to the children before I preached. Then I could say to the children see the man holding Jesus... It was very successful. Many of our children are foster children and are very shy and reserved, all have suffered abuse. It was so exciting to see them come alive with these gorgeous images - looking very like them  I am Caucasian and so it is important for them to know that these images of African people are beautiful to me. Rev.
